The basic statistical records and files of the Corporate Bond Project were brought together be a cooperative study supervised by the National Bureau of Economic Research, sponsored by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and conducted with the participation of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Work Projects Administration, and other public and private institutions.
