CMS offers a Methodology and Data Elements Guide and a more information on the FUL program can be found on their Federal Upper Limits page.

CMS updates the FULs monthly.

Each annual directory contains the following:

  • The source CSV file from CMS saved as rows[CCYYMM].csv
  • Enhanced versions of the source CSV file saved as SAS, Stata, and CSV ful[CCYYMM].[dta|sas7bdat|csv] files
  • 'desc' description subdirectories and files which contain summary statistics and tables
