Katherine L. Milkman, Project Leader
Katy Milkman is the James G. Dinan Professor at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds secondary appointments in Penn’s Perelman School of Medicine and School of Arts and Sciences. Her research explores ways that insights from economics and psychology can be harnessed to change consequential behaviors for good, such as savings, exercise, student achievement, vaccination and discrimination.

John Beshears is the Terrie F. and Bradley M. Bloom Associate Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. His primary research area is behavioral economics. He focuses on understanding how the financial decisions of households and firms are influenced by the institutional environment in which choices are made.
