His research focuses on the economics of health insurance markets, with a particular focus on markets and social health insurance programs for low-income households.

Adrianna McIntyre is an Assistant Professor of Health Policy and Politics in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research interests include the politics of health reform, barriers to take-up and retention of subsidized health insurance, and program evaluation for health policy.

Lauren Hersch Nicholas is a professor in the Division of Geriatrics at the CU Anschutz School of Medicine and has a secondary appointment in the CU Denver Department of Economics. Her research focuses on the role of public policy in improving health and healthcare quality for the elderly.

Mark Shepard is Associate Professor of Public Policy at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. His research studies the U.S. health insurance system, using methods from industrial organization and public economics.
