Investigators
Katy Milkman is the James G. Dinan Professor at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds secondary appointments in Penn’s Perelman School of Medicine and School of Arts and Sciences. Her research explores ways that insights from economics and psychology can be harnessed to change consequential behaviors for good, such as savings, exercise, student achievement, vaccination and discrimination.
Dr. Kevin Volpp is the founding Director of the Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics (CHIBE) and the Mark V. Pauly President’s Distinguished Professor at Perelman School of Medicine and Health Care Management at the Wharton School. His work focuses on developing and testing innovative ways of applying insights from behavioral economics in improving patient health behavior and affecting provider performance.
