Call for Proposals

The EMRI provides small data acquisition grants to early-career faculty members and dissertation-writing doctoral students to support the launch of economic measurement research projects that aim to contribute to the creation of new or improved economic statistics. Recent grants have been awarded to:

• measure the local labor market outcomes of data center infrastructure investment;
• construct historical quality-adjusted price indices using product features summarized in major retail catalogs; and
• supplement existing statistics on job openings and labor turnover with measures of employer screening efforts.
