Environmental and Energy Policy and the Economy, 2021-2024

There are four primary objectives. (1) To provide incentives for leading academic researchers to focus on policy-relevant topics within EEE and to communicate their findings in impactful ways. (2) To maintain a regular forum where researchers can communicate directly with members of the professional staff at government agencies and NGOs focused on energy and environmental policy. (3) To create lasting impact through continuation of an annual publication featuring EEE research that is directly related to current and ongoing policy debates. (4) To encourage early-career scholars in environmental and energy economics to study questions that simultaneously contribute to scholarship in economics and inform decision-making on environmental and energy policy
