Economic Contributions to the Societal Experts Action Network

This project advances the work of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine’s Societal Experts Action Network (SEAN) and provides research input to policy-makers who confront novel decisions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. SEAN is designed to deliver actionable research findings to such policy-makers. It convenes conferences on policy questions and commissions summary papers describing the state of knowledge on particular topics. This project supports economists’ contributions to the SEAN process by facilitating the preparation of white papers that summarize key economic issues and the research that bears on them.
