NB25-05: Understanding the Changing Employment Outcomes of SSI and SSDI Recipients with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

This project analyzes differences across time, demographic groups, and geography in the employment outcomes of SSDI and SSI beneficiaries with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). It examines employment trends over the course of the 21st century, including during the Great Recession and COVID pandemic; the role of compositional shifts among those with I/DD who are enrolled in SSDI/SSI; racial and ethnic disparities in employment outcomes; and geographic (state-by-state) variations in outcomes
