Philip Armour is director of the RAND School of Public Policy Ph.D. Program and a senior economist at RAND. His research focuses on the interplay between health and work, retirement decisionmaking, short- and long-term disability, financial decisionmaking, and the programs and policies that support workers.

Maya Buenaventura is a policy researcher at RAND and a professor of policy analysis at the RAND School of Public Policy. Her research encompasses public defender workloads and models, issues affecting the civil justice system, banking initiatives, and forced labor in global supply chains.
