Sumedha Gupta is an Associate Professor of Economics at Indiana University, Indianapolis. Her  research examines how public policies shape health, differences in health outcomes, and aging, particularly in the context of the opioid epidemic, the COVID-19 pandemic, and Medicaid reform.

Kosali Simon holds the Herman B. Wells Endowed Professorship at Indiana University's O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Her research focuses on the determinants of health outcomes, in particular the role of public and private health insurance.
