The National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) Summer Institute, which takes place in Cambridge, Massachusetts, over three weeks in July, is a collection of research meetings that bring together economists from colleges and universities, government agencies, think tanks, central banks, and international organizations. These meetings support formal interaction in seminars and workshops as well as informal interaction over meals and during breaks. Participants at these meetings discuss their latest research findings, plan future projects, and carry out collaborative work. The workshops are an important part of the research infrastructure in economics and assist the research of many economists. This grant supports the 2026, 2027, and 2028 meetings.
