Economics of Race and Stratification

The NBER will organize and host a conference on “Economics of Race and Stratification” at which
leading scholars on the economics of race and stratification will present overviews of important research
developments and important opportunities in the field. The papers presented at the meeting will be
considered for publication in a conference volume to be published by the University of Chicago Press.
The volume will be a standard reference for scholars interested in learning about the current state and
future opportunities for research in stratification economics.
