How to Connect to the NBER-Staff Network

A new, secure wireless network, NBER-Staff, is available at 1050 to streamline access to secure resources. Please note that this network is exclusively for registered NBER laptops assigned to staff members and will not work with your smartphone or other personal device. Follow the steps below to connect:

You may continue using the NBER-Private network for your other devices.

From your NBER laptop at 1050:

  1. On your device, navigate to the Wi-Fi settings. Find and select the NBER-Staff from the list of available networks. Click Connect to proceed.

  1. Enter your NBER user name and password when prompted. Click OK to continue.

  1. If your credentials are correct, you will successfully connect to the network. If the connection fails, double-check your username and password, then try again.
