Katherine Baicker is Dean and Emmett Dedmon Professor at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy. Her research focuses on the effects of public and private health insurance coverage on the distribution and quality of health care services.
Ben Handel is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of California – Berkeley. His research focuses on consumer choice and market structure regarding health insurance markets, and on regulation of insurance markets.
Kathleen T. Unroe is the Cornelius and Yvonne Pettinga Professor of Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Her research, clinical and policy interests are focused on improving quality of care — particularly access to palliative and end-of-life care — for nursing home residents.
Julia Adler-Milstein is a Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. She is a researcher in health IT policy, with a specific focus on electronic health records and interoperability.
Ziad Obermeyer is the Blue Cross of California Distinguished Professor of Health Policy and Management at the School of Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley. He research examines questions in medicine and health policy using econometric methods and machine learning tools.
Jennifer Carnahan is Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Her research focuses on improving care for older adults in nursing homes, most recently focusing on transitions of care from the skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting to home for patients with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
