Erik Hurst, Co-Principal Investigator

Erik Hurst is the Frank P. and Marianne R. Diassi Distinguished Service Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.  His research explores topics in labor economics, macroeconomics, and urban economics, especially the determinants of labor market fluctuations.

Lisa B. Kahn, Co-Principal Investigator

Lisa B. Kahn Kahn is the Helen F. and Fred H. Gowen Professor in the Social Sciences and a Professor of Economics at the University of Rochester. Her research focuses on labor economics with interests in organizations and education. 

Ayşegül Şahin, Co-Principal Investigator

Ayşegül Şahin is the Richard J. Gonzalez Regents Chair in Economics at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research focuses on unemployment, and labor force participation dynamics, and other aspects of labor market performance.
