Subject: Invitation: Guest Editor of Special Issue "Health Behavior and Public Health" for IJERPH (ISSN 1660-4601, http://www.mdpi.com/journal/ijerph)
Dear Professor Yamada,

On behalf of Prof. Dr. Paul B. Tchounwou, the Editor-in-Chief of
International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health,
I would like to invite you to join the editorial board of IJERPH
(ISSN 1660-4601, http://www.mdpi.com/journal/ijerph) and to
guest edit a special issue on Health Behavior and Public Health.

IJERPH is an Open Access and online journal, with the main Editorial Office
located in Basel, Switzerland. It has been accepted for coverage in
Science Citation Index Expanded, available as the Web of Science and
in Current Contents/Agriculture, Biology, and Environmental Sciences.
Coverage will begin with the 2009 issues. All papers published in IJERPH
have DOI numbers. The new website, http://www.mdpi.com/journal/ijerph,
was set up in October 2008 with many new functions. Since January 2009,
we started to publish IJERPH monthly, see http://www.mdpi.com/1660-4601/6
for the table of contents.

The Editorial team consists of trained scientists (Managing Editors
Dr. Shu-Kun Lin, PhD from the ETH Zurich, and Dr. Francisco Teixeira Jr.,
PhD from University of Basel and the Production Editor: Dr. Derek McPhee,
California, USA).

MDPI publishes several peer-reviewed, open access journals listed at
http://www.mdpi.com/about/journals. There are 6 Nobel Prize winners on
the editorial boards of these scientific journals
(http://www.mdpi.com/about/nobelists). All these journals maintain a
rigorous peer-review and rapid editorial procedure.

If you serve on the editorial boards you may review a couple of
manuscripts per year and may help to edit a special issue on the topic
related to your research. Our editorial office will take care of the
whole editorial process. You will be responsible for making final
decision whether a paper is acceptable or not, after peer review and
author's revision if you agree to edit a special issue and the paper is
for your special issue. You may publish a paper per year free of charge
in Open Access. You may also invite up to 5 top experts from well-known
research institutes to publish in Open Access form free of charge within
next 6 months. Because we are doing low cost publishing service in Open
Access form, we cannot pay you any honorarium. The term for the
editorial board membership is 2 years and can be renewed.

If you have any question, suggestion or recommendation, please let us
know.

Kind regards,

Gardenia You
Assistant Editor
