Warm greetings.
The DAE Program Review with Jim Poterba is scheduled for July 1 and I need to compile information on our group by June 29 to write a report.
Please send me a paragraph or two about your recent activities. You do not have to go into great detail, particularly if the project is ongoing from a previous one you sent me. (Do not send a CV or a long note since I have to write a brief report on all members of our group.) Include any grant activity that is being channeled through your university or the NBER. Finally, let me know if there are any activities our group should consider, including conferences, graduate student involvement and new directions.
I look forward to seeing you at the Summer Institute, which has been extremely well organized for the past two years by Hoyt Bleakley, Carola Frydman and Gary Libecap. The DAE SI organizing committee changes every two years. Please let me know if you would like to be part of the committee for the next two years or the following two.
I am delighted that we have several new parents in our group. The DAE welcomes babies to our meetings (as long as they do not ask questions we cannot answer).
