CALL FOR PAPERS

The 2002 Summer Institute will be held in Cambridge, Massachusetts from July 15 to August 9, 2002. Workshops lasting a week or more will be held on the following subjects:

  • economics of aging
  • American economic history
  • economic fluctuations
  • financial markets
  • monetary economics
  • asset pricing
  • corporate finance
  • industrial organization
  • international studies
  • economics of children and family
  • productivity
  • environmental economics
  • education
  • health economics
  • law and economics
  • taxation
  • labor economics
  • Please indicate which workshop you would like your paper considered for.

    The NBER provides continental breakfast and lunch each day, as well as office space and limited support services. While the NBER will arrange housing for participants, those whose papers are selected for presentation and invited to attend any of the workshops must pay for their own transportation and lodging.

    Economists at the assistant professor level or above who are interested in participating in the 2002 Summer Institute should submit a curriculum vitae and a one-page abstract of any paper they would like to present by January 31, 2002. Submissions should be sent to:
