Hi Tim,

Yes, Kevin is focused on articles/summaries priority. Kevin brought you up-to-date on the footnote handling below. Now he is knee-deep working through the image import. Next he will tackle the new endpoint for summaries. Both of which he feels we are on track to complete today. We’ll update you with any additional progress as we move through the tasks.

Thank you,

  * Daniel

I understand, and I would hope this is your highest priority since we have people who have been waiting since Monday to update content that depends on these fixes.

I need to know when to expect it.

I have a list of priorities to tackle, I will let you know when it is available.

Footnotes are now available, I have made 1 example one here:

There is a Footnotes section in the edit form now. Note that the text does not need numbers (the numbers output in the footnote area are automatic), and the anchor name does not need the # sign.

Will the Author/Image fix be available today too?

I have not had a chance to implement either of those yet. The character issue happened while I was finishing up footnotes. Currently it’s still an HTML placeholder in the page. Footnotes will be available today.

Subject: Reporter articles

Hi Kevin Q.

It appears that the Reporter articles have been reloaded and components added for the Authors and the footnotes, but it's no clear now to use them. The UTF-8 fix is terrific and will save us a lot of time. I can copy/paste the author bio into the data field but it doesn't show up in the component,and it's not clear how to even access the footnotes. There also still doesn't appear to be a way to put the author image in the author data field.

Here's the one I experimented with:

What am I missing?
