Dear Board Members -
I am pleased to report that there were very few conflicts with either of
the proposed dates for our 2016 meetings. There were more objections to
the "alternative" dates. In light of this information, I have selected
the proposed dates as the ones on which the NBER board will meet in 2016:
Monday, April 18, 2016 (Executive Committee meeting on Sunday evening,
April 17) New York
Monday, September 19, 2016 (Executive Committee and Board Dinner on
Sunday night, September 18) Cambridge
I look forward to seeing you at our April 2014 board meeting in New
