RE: Call for Papers, NBER Labor Studies Program Meeting, April 17-18, 2009
This spring, we will have the LS meetings on Friday-Saturday April
17-18, 2009 in Cambridge, MA, joint with the Environmental and Energy
economics. I tried for May Day which is a Friday as a fitting labor
time but that was already taken. LS will meet all day Friday the
17th, with about six paper presentations.
The morning will include labor papers that are not necessarily
related to energy or the environment, and the afternoon will have
joint LS & EEE papers, chosen by us and them jointly. Saturday April
18, the EEE group will continue with about 3-4 papers, which some of
you may want to attend as well. Last time we had a joint meeting
with Productivity that was lots of fun so figure this will be a good
show as well. We would love to have lots of labor-ish stuff related
to the environment or energy.
We would like submission by January 31, 2009. You need not specify
whether your paper is for the joint LS/EEE session Friday or for the
Labor only, since I assume we will be able to tell from the topic!
