Time Use Conference and Workshop

Dear NBER Colleague,

I am writing to let you know about two opportunities that may be of
interest to you or your students. First, the deadline for submissions
for the American Time Use Research Conference, scheduled to be held June
25-26, 2009 at the University of Maryland, has been extended to next
Monday, December 8.

Second, a workshop for young scholars interested in learning about time
use data generally and the American Time Use Survey in particular will
be held June 22-24, 2009, also at the University of Maryland. Domestic
air fares, local transportation costs and hotel accomodations will be
covered for all workshop participants, all of whom also will be invited
to attend the research conference on June 25-26. The deadline for
submission of applications to participate in the workshop is February
27, 2009.
