RE:Summer Institute 2004 Session on Corporate Governance -- Call for Papers

As part of the NBER Summer Institute, and in conjunction with the meeting
of the Program in Law and Economics, the Program's project on corporate
governance will hold its first session on corporate governance. The session
will take place on Thursday and Friday, July 29 and 30, in Cambridge,
Massachusetts.

Both empirical and/or theoretical papers will be considered. Although
papers on all topics in corporate governance will be considered, the
following subject are of particular interest: (1) The effects of corporate
governance arrangements on firms value and performance, (2) Corporate
boards, and (3) Executive compensation arrangements.
If you are interested in presenting a paper, please send a hard copy of
your paper (marking it NBER corporate governance) to:
