Dear ITI group,

Thank you to Marc Muendler and Jon Vogel for organizing a wonderful ITI summer institute.

The upcoming ITI winter meeting will be held on Friday-Saturday, December 1-2, 2017, at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR). Please submit papers electronically by MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, to:

As part of an initiative to stimulate interaction across NBER programs, there will be a one-day conference on Firms and Networks (organized by Laura Alfaro, Pol Antràs and myself) on Thursday 15 March, 2018 at the NBER in Cambridge, immediately before the ITI Spring meeting. This meeting will be open to other programs and a separate call for papers will follow shortly.

The upcoming ITI spring meeting will be held on 16-17 March, 2018 at the NBER in Cambridge. In response to the intensity of interest last spring, this meeting will be themed Trade and Geography (organized by Esteban Rossi-Hansberg and myself) and will also be open to other programs.

Next summer’s ITI summer institute will be organized by David Atkin and Jon Vogel. Further details on scheduling will follow in due course.

I hope that you have a great rest of the summer.

With best regards,

Steve
