ITI summer institute

Dear ITI group:

Let me once again thank Arnaud Costinot and Dave Donaldson, as well as all the presenters and discussants, for the fine program at the summer institute this year.

Next year the summer institute will be organized by Dave and Marc Muendler. Also, let me point out that July 4, 2016, will fall on a Monday, so the summer institute will not begin until the following Monday, July 11. As usual, you can expect the ITI group to meet during the first week, from July 11-14, 2016.

As some of you may have heard, our location at the Marriott this year was a punishment strategy against the Hotel Marlowe, which was quite unhelpful last year with the construction noise. Presuming that they get the message, I anticipate that we will have the option to return there. But since we have one year of experience at the Marriott (and in future years the Bureau may have need of this location), let me take the opportunity to conduct a brief survey.

Please email back with one-word answers to these questions:

1. Did you find the Cambridge Marriott an acceptable location for the ITI summer institute?

2. Which location do you prefer for the ITI summer institute - the Marriott or the Marlowe (knowing that the Sonesta will remain the dominant location for most groups).

Thanks for your response, and please send these directly to me (only).

Rob
