Dear ITI group:

This is a call for papers for the winter meeting, December 6-7, 2013, which will be held at the San Francisco Fed.

The NBER now has an electronic submission of papers. Please submit papers or abstracts by FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4 to:

http://papers.nber.org/confsubmit/backend/cfp?id=ITIf13

In addition, I would like to update you on plans for the spring meeting, March 28-29, 2014. As I indicated in an email shortly after the summer institute in July, we plan to hold that program meeting in Washington, D.C. The first day, Friday March 28, will be devoted to papers that have some relevance (through the analysis of policy or the use of data) to economists in agencies in D.C., many of whom will be invited to the program meeting. Dave Richardson and Matt Slaughter will be organizing that day.The second morning, March 29, will deal with the usual range of topics at a program meeting, and I will be organizing the papers.

While the call for the spring 2014 meeting will not go out until the new year, if you have a paper or work in progress that you think might fit especially well, I would encourage you to be in touch with Dave and Matt (or me) at an early stage, as they keep track of items for that agenda.

Sincerely,

Rob
