************************ CALL FOR PAPERS************************
*********************************************************************************

The NBER research program in Industrial Organization will next meet on
the Stanford campus beginning with lunch at noon on *Friday, February 22
and concluding Saturday, February 23, 2013, by 5 p.m*. Greg Lewis and
Ryan Kellogg will organize the meeting.

We will continue our experiment from Summer Institute at this meeting
with an "author presents" format and 70 minutes devoted to each paper.
Authors will be allocated a strict limit of 40 minutes, discussants
10-15 minutes, and the remainder of the time will be devoted to floor
discussion.

The IO program meeting solicits papers across a broad range of
questions, methods, and applications in industrial organization, with an
emphasis on empirical IO. Our ideal is research at the working paper
stage. To ensure that completed papers are available for distribution,
we will decide the program based on submissions of draft papers. These
are the papers that will be posted for participants _unless a revised
version is received by the NBER conference department by February 1,
2013_. If you are not confident of having your final version available
by February 1, you should plan to submit your paper for the Summer
Institute meeting, which will be held on July , 2013 in Cambridge.

*If you have a paper you would like to present, please upload a copy at *

http://papers.nber.org/confsubmit/backend/cfp?id=IOs13

***THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS **
                  ** Monday, November 26, 2012, 5 p.m. Eastern Time **

*Authors of papers selected for the program will be notified by December
21. While we have space for only a small fraction of submissions we
receive, we give each our careful consideration.

*Please forward this call to others, especially junior faculty*, who
might have papers suitable for this meeting. We try to be inclusive,
but don't have every e-mail on our distribution list, and we count on
your help to get the word out. *Researchers may self-subscribe to the
call for papers distribution list *at:

Thanks!
