Dear IO Program family members:

Thanks to the 25 of you who have responded with availability for Winter IO program meeting dates.   The current leader by a very slight margin seems to be February 3-4, 2012, though most respondents seem to have pretty flat preferences across the possible dates.   If you haven't responded, please do so by Wednesday, September 28, to have your preferences included in the final determination.

Also, I've now learned that the Winter 2012 NBER Reporter is not an early 2012 issue, but the last 2012 issue, so the deadline for my article on the IO program is a year from now.  That should give everyone plenty of time to get your current (and upcoming) research papers into the NBER Working Paper series.  Please make an effort to do so in the coming weeks and months.  It's one of the privileges of being an NBER IO family member, and a way that you can show you value your membership in the program.  In recent years, more NBER IO working papers have been authored by non-IO family members than by IO program members.  Please help change those statistics!

Best,
Nancy Rose
