Dear Colleagues,

The International Economics Section and the Department of Economics at Princeton University invite applications for the Peter B. Kenen Visiting Fellowship and for IES (Postdoctoral) Fellowships for 2016 -2017. One or more Fellows will be chosen in each category to spend an academic year in residence at Princeton as a guest of the Section and the Department. The Fellows will be given office space and the opportunity to pursue independent research on any topics in international economics. The Fellows will receive a stipend as well as a modest fund for research expenses. More senior fellows may combine our fellowship with other sources of funding to replace up to the full amount of their academic-year salaries at their home institutions.

The Kenen Fellowship is open to any economist who currently holds a full-time position in a university or a research organization. Postdoctoral fellowships are open only to those who are now completing their Ph.D.s. I would appreciate if you would circulate this message to anyone whom you feel might be interested and a good candidate.
Applications for the Kenen Fellowship and the IES Fellowship should be submitted online at http://jobs.princeton.edu. Click "Search Open Positions", an orange link at the upper left portion of the page. Then pull down the menu next to "Department", scroll down to "International Economics", and click "Search" to find the listings. Applicants for the Kenen Fellowship should submit a curriculum vitae, the names and contact information for two references, and a statement of 750 words or less describing the research they would undertake while visiting Princeton. Applicants for IES (Postdoctoral) Fellowships should submit a curriculum vitae and their job-market paper or papers. In addition, these applicants should have three confidential letters of recommendation emailed to IES_at_princeton.edu<mailto:ies_at_princeton.edu>.
For further information, please contact Sharon Ernst<mailto:sernst_at_princeton.edu>.
