Dear IFM members:

            Several announcements.

(1) We welcome two new Faculty Research Fellows this year: Doireann Fitzgerald<http://www.nber.org/people/doireann_fitzgerald> and Matteo Maggiori<http://www.nber.org/people/matteo_maggiori>. Last year we added Javier Bianchi<http://www.nber.org/people/javier_bianchi> and Anton Korinek<http://www.nber.org/people/anton_korinek>. Congratulations to all of them, and to ourselves. "Thank you" to all who made nominations and to the members of the committee that reviews the candidates for the difficult selection decision.

(2) October 25 is the date for the Fall IFM program meeting, organized by Charles Engel and Linda Tesar.

(3) I look forward to seeing most of you this coming week at Summer Institute. Thanks go to Mick Devereux and Pierre-Olivier Gourinchas, for putting together another fine program<http://users.nber.org/~confer/2013/SI2013/IFM/ifmprg.html>. As you probably know, IFM is not meeting Wednesday, July 10, so that those who want to can attend the special program of the ME group<http://users.nber.org/~confer/2013/SI2013/FED/FEDprg.html> on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Federal Reserve.

** As last year, IFM members are invited to join Kathy and me for an informal reception in our backyard, on Tuesday, July 9, 5:45-7:45 p.m..
(Other attendees to IFM Summer Institute are invited as well, even though they won't get this email message.) **
