Dear NBER Colleagues,
I am back to NYU after a two-year wonkish stint in Washington. In the
last few months I did not have time to update my Asian and Global Crisis
web site but I have done so in the last few weeks with the help of a
couple of assistants. The site is now about Global Macro and Financial
Policy issues, not just the recent crisis episodes. It has been improved
both in terms of content (that will be updated every few days) and
structure ( a simpler URL, a better interface and organization with
sections and drop-down subsections, a good search engine, several
discussion groups and a email list you can subscribe to get regular
email updates of what is new on the site). The site remains a free
public good available to all; I hope it remains useful, topical and
timely with the continuous upgrades I will add. Feel free to give me
suggestions and ideas for improvement and new topics to be added; this
is work in progress.
