The Affordable Care Act and the Labor Market
March 21, 2014

The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and the Institute of Government and
Public Affairs at the University of Illinois are pleased to host a
conference that brings together recent original research on the impact of
the Affordable Care Act on various aspects of the American labor market,
including effects on labor supply, wages, and job mobility. The conference
will also feature a panel discussion with David Card (Class of 1950
Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics of the University of
California, Berkeley) and Jonathan Gruber (Professor in the Department of
Economics of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
