Subject: Invitation to Attend 2014 Spring Meeting of NBER Health Economics Program

Everyone,

Each spring the National Bureau of Economic Research Health Economics Program holds a meeting that takes the form of a workshop at which six papers are presented. There are no formal discussants but a lot of discussion of each paper by the participants. In the past the meeting has been held at the main office of the Bureau in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In 2014 the meeting will be held in Bethesda, Maryland on Friday, April 11, 2014. NBER President Jim Poterba and I want to hold the meeting at that location to give NIH and AHRQ staff the opportunity to attend. I will provide more details concerning the meeting, including a formal invitation to attend, in a few months. In the meantime, if you would like other staff to be invited, please let me know.

Best regards,
Mike
