I have modified the grants editor so that the proximal source and for
incoming subcontracts the prime award funder are pull-down menus
populated from the funding_sources table, which is a list that Alterra
assembled and de-duplicated. If a granthas a non-standard value you can
tell because it willnot be in alphabetical order in the list and because
you will find it listed in the following anysql queries:

For now I have not rearranged thevarious boxes on the page, but I
probably will soon because the new menus are very wide and warrant using
another line of vertical space.
I global-replaced individually the top 5 funding sources, the rest will
have to be done one at a time. I believe Alterra has a plan to do this.
For now there is no admin interface to add or remove items from the
funding_sources table. Just ask me and I will do it. I will put a tool
together for that soon.
