On Sunday, April 21, 2013, the NBER will host a memorial program at
the Sofitel Hotel in New York City to celebrate Anna Schwartz' many
contributions to economics. An invitation is attached to this message;
I hope that you will be able to attend.
To assist with our planning, I would be very grateful if you could
send a "provisional RSVP" to Marinella Moscheni (mmoscheni_at_gc.cuny.edu)
in the NBER's New York office. I fully understand that your plans may
change between now and next April. By aggregating the provisional
replies, however, we will be able to make an informed decision about
which of the hotel's several potential meeting spaces we should select
for this gathering.
The NBER can reserve rooms at the Sofitel Hotel for Saturday April
20 and Sunday April 21 at a tax-inclusive group rate of $406/night. We
need to provide the hotel with a room count for this block by Friday,
November 16. If you would like to reserve a room for one or both nights
at this group rate, please include that information in your RSVP message
to Marinella. Thank you.
