Dear Members of the Economic Fluctuations Program -

On Monday July 16 2012 the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston will be
hosting a conference on "Uncertainty, Panic, and Confidence." Since
there are many EFG program activities in Cambridge in mid-July, and some
program affiliates may be interested in attending the Fed's conference
as well, I am circulating the invitation below. If you are interested
in attending, please follow the links to their website. All best wishes.

Jim

Dear Colleagues:

I am delighted to invite you to the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's
Conference on *"Uncertainty, Panic, and Confidence"*. This conference
will bring together academics and policymakers to examine social science
perspectives on factors that are thought to trigger economic panic or,
conversely, induce confidence, and how these insights may inform more
effective economic policy. The conference will take place on Monday,
July 16, 2012 at the Boston Fed. I hope you will join us for this
timely and critical analysis of the determinants of uncertainty, panic
and confidence and their impact on macroeconomic conditions.

The conference program and registration details are available on the
conference website <http://www.bostonfed.org/behavioral2012>. As space
is limited, we encourage you to register for the conference as soon as
possible, but no later than June 22, 2012. If you have any questions
about the conference arrangements, please contact Donna Dulski in the
Bank's research department at 617-973-3029 or via email at
_researchconference.bos_at_bos.frb.org._
