Subject: Camp Resources XXI – Call for Abstracts Reminder

Dear Colleagues and Friends of Camp Resources,

This is a reminder that the due date to turn in Camp Resources XXI abstracts is this Friday May 9th. Please find attached the call for abstracts. Camp will be held August 10-12 at the Blockade Runner Resort in Wrightsville Beach, N.C.

The workshop will begin Sunday evening (the 10th) with an opening reception and conclude late Tuesday afternoon (the 12th). This year our mentors are John List, Homer J. Livingston Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago, and Kathy Segerson, Professor of Economics at the University of Connecticut. In addition to the regular support Camp Resources enjoys from the outstanding community of environmental and resource economists in the Triangle and Southeast region, we look forward to hosting many “alumni” who have gone on to lead distinguished careers in academia, government and the private sector!

While all abstracts will be considered carefully, preference will be given to students and young professionals who have not previously presented at Camp Resources. Generous financial support from the U.S. EPA allows us to provide travel support for all presenters. Details on how to submit are in the attached memo.

Please forward this memo to those who may be interested. If you would like to subscribe/unsubscribe to this list, please email env_econ_at_ncsu.edu.

We look forward to hearing from you,

Laura Taylor, Roger von Haefen, and Kerry Smith
