Economic History and Theory

July 30 - August 1

The segment will be organized by Ran Abramitzky, Avner Greif, Petra Moser,
and Gavin Wright of the Department of Economics at Stanford University, and
Effi Benmelech of Harvard University. We would like to invite papers that
lie at the intersection of economic theory and economic history. The ideal
paper would be an empirical test of economic theory using historical
data. To apply, please send an email with your paper attached as a PDF
file (along with the title of the session that you want to join) to Rafal
Klopotowski:rafal54_at_stanford.edu

The deadline for applications is March 1st, 2008. We expect to make
selections by March 15th.
