To All DAE Family Members:

Greetings.

The DAE Summer Institute is almost here with sessions that have been very
ably organized by Eric Hilt, Melissa Thomasson, and Werner Troesken.

Every year during our SI Marty Feldstein meets with me to review our program,
learn what our members have been doing, and provide advice for growth and
scholarly activities. In preparation for that meeting I would like the
following from each of you (and please remember that there are more than 40 of
you):

1. A (brief) description of your research projects. This should take the
form of a few sentences per project (for 2-3 projects max). If you want
to refer to an NBER working paper, you can give the working paper #.

2. A statement of your NBER funded grants (current and/or proposals).

3. Suggestions for NBER conferences.

4. Anything else that relates to the DAE (e.g., conference food, drinks,
Cambridge weather).

Please do not send a CV or anything long. My meeting with Marty generally
lasts for between 1 and 2 hours and I need pithy remarks about each of you.
