Sundstrom and Alex Field as an assistant professor at Santa Clara. You
may have seen Kris's coauthored piece with Ian McLean in the JEH 1998. He
has other interesting work on American economic growth and on the Great
Depression in train, and would be an enthusiastic and productive FRF.
