Congratulations to Ralph Koijen

Dear NBER Colleagues -

     I hope that you will join me in congratulating Ralph Koijen, who
was recently named the 2019 recipient of the American Finance
Association's Fischer Black Prize.  The prize honors the person under
the age of 40 whose work best exemplifies Fischer Black's
practice-relevant research in finance.  Ralph's work has ranged widely
in financial economics, examining many aspects of insurance markets, the
pricing of equities and of fixed income securities, and mortgage markets.

     Ralph is the AQR Capital Management Professor of Finance at
Chicago's Booth School of Business and a Research Associate in the
NBER's Asset Pricing program.    All best wishes.
