Zellner Award for Best Applied PhD Thesis

Dear NBER Members,

Every year, the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics (JBES) sponsors a Zellner thesis award for the best dissertation in applied work.

The range of topics is quite broad and includes theoretical and applied work in macro or microeconometrics.

Past winners include Geert-Bekaert, Patrick Bajari, Elie Tamer, Monika Piazzesi, Panle Jia, and Viktor Todorov.

The deadline for submission is March 31, 2009.
