Hello Everyone:

We are happy to report that all systems are up and running again.
We did run into some roadblocks on a couple of items but have managed to
update the OS on the servers and have updated the hardware issues on our
storage server. We did not take up upgrading the virtual machines and
hosts as we had run out of time of the announced downtime. We will take
this up at a later date. The affected users for that downtime will be a
much smaller set from the NBER staff.

Please do report any problems or other inconsistencies you encounter that
could be a result of our upgrade work today so we can try to fix them.

We thank everyone for the cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience
this operation may have caused.

Happy 4th!

Thanks.
