Dear Jean,

We would like to make our data base titled "Work-Family Policies and Other Data" more widely available to other researchers by posting it on the NBER data site. These data were used for various parts of our NICHD funded R01 project titled "Work-Family Policies and Child and Family Well-Being" (1R01 HD047215 NIH/NICHD). The principal researches on this project are Jane Waldfogel, Wen-Jui Han and myself, although  various other individuals have been coauthors on papers resulting from the project. In addition to numerous publications, several NBER working papers have used these data including no. 10452, 13697, 14660 and 17135.

I have attached copies of the data both as an excel spreadsheet and as a STATA dataset. 

Please let me know if it is possible to post these data on the NBER site, and also whether there is any additional information that you need.
