Jolls to Co-Direct NBER's Program on Law and Economics
Christine Jolls, an NBER Research Associate and Professor of Law at Harvard Law School (HLS), is joining her Harvard colleague Steven Shavell as co-director of the NBER's Program of Research on Law and Economics. Jolls holds a BA from Stanford University, a JD from Harvard Law School, and a PhD in economics from MIT. Before joining the HLS faculty, she clerked for Judge Stephen F. Williams on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit in 1995-6 and for Justice Antonin Scalia of the U.S. Supreme Court in 1996-7.
