The tab-delimited file mobdata.txt contains the Current Population Survey (CPS) interstate migration rates described in:

Kaplan, Greg, and Sam Schulhofer-Wohl, 2010, "Interstate Migration Has Fallen Less Than You Think: Consequences of Hot Deck Imputation in the Current Population Survey," Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis Working Paper 681 and NBER Working Paper 16536.

There are four variables in the data file:

*year -- survey year; the migration rate refers to migration between February-April of (year-1) and February-April of (year)

*all -- published interstate migration rate (%) using all CPS data

*orig -- interstate migration rate (%) using nonimputed CPS data

*imputed -- interstate migration rate (%) using imputed CPS data
