HETENURE is not included in the
BLS ftp files beginning in 1999
but, it is available quarterly
( March, June, September, and December )
from the DataFerret

These tag files were made using the DataFerret.

The variables are HRHHID,OCCURNUM,YYYYMM,
HETENURE,HRMONTH,HRYEAR4,HRSERSUF ( where available ).

To read the .csv files in Stata,
I'd suggest opening the file
in an editor and placing quotes
around the first value of HRHHID,
and OCCURNUM so that Stata will treat 
those values as strings.

Read the data with code like below:

stata -m500 insheet using hetenure_apr99.csv
