From Brooklyn Bridge:Proceed straight to Atlantic Avenue. Turn left on Atlantic
and drive approx. 1 mile. Turn right on Flatbush Avenue after 0.7 mi at major
intersection with 3 garages, and proceed straight to Grand Army Plaza, about
o.7 miles and just after Fourth Avenue. Go 2/3 of the way around large
traffic circle to exit at Eastern
Parkway by keeping the Brooklyn Public Library on your right. Continue
following directions in 4 on the right.
From Manhattan Bridge: Proceed straight ahead on Flatbush Avenue to Grand
Army Plaza. Go 2/3 of the way around large traffic circle to Eastern Parkway
keeping the Brooklyn Public Library on your right. Continue following
directions in 4 on the right.
From Northern New Jersey: George Washington Bridge to Henry Hudson Parkway
South to Westside Highway. Proceed to Brooklyn Battery Tunnel. Continue

From Brooklyn Battery Tunnel: After paying toll bear left. Take first exit on
left, Prospect Expressway. Continue following directions in 1 on the
right.
From Westchester & Connecticut: Take the Whitestone Bridge onto the Whitestone
Expressway to the Grand Central Parkway towards LaGuardia Airport. Take the
Grand Central Parkway past the airport to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway
(Route 278). Continue following directions in 2 on the right.
From Northern Long Island: Take the Long Island Expressway westbound to the
Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (Route 278) westbound. Continue following
directions in 2 on the right.
From Southern Long Island: Belt Parkway to Ocean Parkway North (Exit 7N).
After crossing Church Avenue (approx. 4 1/4 miles) continue straight onto the
Prospect Expressway. Take second exit, 8th-7th Avenue. Continue following
directions in 3 on the right.
From Staten Island & Southern New
Jersey: Take Verrazano Bridge. Continue straight onto Brooklyn-Queens
Expressway (Route 278) eastbound. Exit at Prospect Expressway. Continue
following directions in 1 on the right.

1 - First exit on right, l0th-l1th avenue. Ignore
signs directing you to Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Make first left to 11th
Avenue. You are crossing over the expressway. Make a left turn and get back
on expressway. Take first exit, 8th-7th Avenue. Make first right onto 8th
Avenue. Proceed 11/4 miles to Union Street and turn right. Proceed one block
to Grand Army Plaza. Staying in the middle lane, cross circle to Eastern
Parkway keeping the Brooklyn Public Library on your right. Continue following
directions in 4 below.
2 - Take the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway Exit 29, Tillary
Street. Exit and go straight ahead to Flatbush Avenue and turn left. Follow
Flatbush Avenue approx. 1 3/4 miles to Grand Army Plaza. Go 2/3 of the way
around the Plaza circle onto Eastern Parkway keeping the Brooklyn Public
Library on your right. Continue following directions in 4 below.
3 - Make first right onto 8th Avenue. Proceed 11/4 miles to Union
Street and turn right. Proceed one block to Grand Army Plaza. Staying in the
middle lane, cross circle to Eastern Parkway keeping the Brooklyn Public
Library on your right. Continue following directions in 4 below.
4 - Proceed one long block to Washington Avenue with the Brooklyn
Museum on your right Turn right onto Washington Avenue. Make a right turn
into BBG Parking lot, which is directly past the Museum (900 Washington
Avenue). Valet parking will be available there. Ushers will direct guests to
the Palmhouse.
In case of
rain, continue on to the administrative, or back, entrance at 1000 Washington Avenue, and
turn right there.
