These directories contain copies of the Penn-World Tables version
5.6 for DOS, Windows and ASCII. This dataset is also known
as the Summers-Heston data, after the authors.

Directory ASCII has ASCII files, both Unix compressed
and not compressed. Directory DOS has all the files needed for DOS,
including the data in ASCII, and a DOS executable to make extracts.
Directory ./windows has all the files for both DOS and Windows
in compressed format. You will want to copy all the files from this
directory onto a floppy, and then follow the directions in the
file ./windows/readme.doc to install.
